Mr David Cox is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at New Hall Hospital in Salisbury, Wiltshire who specialises in hip, knee and shoulder surgery. He has undertaken many thousands of hip and knee replacements and is able to undertake patient specific knee replacements. These bespoke replacements use 3D imaging to tailor the replacement to the individual. He also has a special interest in the management of sports injuries, utilising minimal access surgical techniques when indicated.

Mr David Cox qualified in medicine from Charing Cross Hospital, which is now the renown Imperial College, London. He trained in general surgery at Kings College Hospital before sub-specialising in orthopaedic surgery at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London before rotating through Guy’s Hospital, the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Conquest Hospital and St. Thomas’ Hospital. He was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Salisbury District Hospital in 1996. He is a Travelling Knee Fellow to the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, USA.
